Excessive Heat Warning and Advisory Issued Today for San Diego County Mountains, Valleys, and Deserts

The National Weather Service warns that high temperatures in the mid-90s to 102 degrees will be expected in the San Diego County Mountains and Inland Valleys, beginning at 11:00 a.m. today. Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 116 degrees are expected in the San Diego County Deserts, beginning at 11:00 a.m. today.   

  • Stay inside or under shaded areas.
  • Drink lots of water.
  • If you feel sick from the heat, call 9-1-1.
  • Never leave young children or pets alone in vehicles.
