Border 2 Fire, Shelter Status & Evacuations

All evacuation orders and warnings for the Border 2 Fire remain in place.  The American Red Cross shelter at Cuyamaca College Gym (900 Rancho San Diego Pkwy, El Cajon, 92019) remains open for evacuees.  As of Sunday morning, 20 people stayed at the shelter overnight. 

The American Red Cross will assess today on whether the shelter will remain open tonight.
