Border 2 Fire Evacuations Update

Fire Crews continue to expand containment of the Border 2 Fire.  To allow more access to residents in the area immediately south of State Route 94, Zone 2543 was split into two sections. Residents in 2543-B can safely return home.

Otay Lakes Road is now open at State Route 94.

Otay Lakes Road is closed between Wueste Road and the Pio Pico Resort except for law enforcement, firefighting and utility company vehicles.
