Border 2 Fire, Evacuation Order and Warning Issued
San Diego County Fire is at scene of a vegetation fire near near Otay Mountain Truck Trail within the Otay Wilderness Area. The fire is now 5,389 acres and remains 10% contained. The American Red Cross has opened an overnight shelter for evacuees at Cuyamaca College Gym, 900 Rancho San Diego Pkwy, El Cajon, 92019.
Temporary Evacuation Point is located in the parking lot at:
- Southwestern College, 900 Otay Lakes Rd, Chula Vista, CA 91910
This is an Evacuation Order. An Evacuation Order requires immediate movement out of the affected area due to an imminent threat to life.
